Bravo Nicole, looks great!

Kind of sad for Howard Riehl and his brothers: if they had been just a little more cooperative/stable with people who could have been potential investors, this is how they could have resurrected their father's legacy (whilst burying the bad parts of it in the sands of time).

Thanks for the nice comments! Well, I am going to produce a few SASM80s, the SASM81 and 82 with the red MAN3A displays will follow later. So you should have a good replacement for your non-worker.

I am really working on the new website and the US service point, so that you should have an overview of the modules which are currently available.

Thanks again, Hanno.

I was the winner. It cost me a pretty penny but I think it's worth it. I've been lusting after a synchronar/sunwatch for a while, and I think this resto-mod concept is brilliant.

I think that is a reasonable price, for the hope of a few decades of trouble-free ownership.

Nicole, I take it you don't fill yours with potting compound like the originals.

I would also like to know how this watch was sealed to see if a lay person would be able to replace the battery. I've seen restored Synchronar watches that were sold having been resealed with a high strength epoxy. In this case would it be a real problem to try to replace the battery for most people? Why did I recently become interested in Synchronar watches? Because my stepson works at Sunpower!
