Not many people will give one of those up, too rare a small part, that completes a piece perfectly(just being honest). Nothing really wrong with yours except whoever soldered it should have soldered a small piece of metal into the joint, bridging it for strength. Solder only sticks through "static adhesion", so thicker solder is not a stronger bond.

horror_logic, maybe you could try making a replacement yourself using a piece of copper sheeting and cut & shape it into the correct shape?
