Thank you again.
I will press the buttons as per instructions.

If it has no time I will block both holes and fit a nice sturdy real crown at 3 in a push-pull manner.
All I then need is to cut some brass straps in Bulova Big Block fashion and hope for the best of it M:)W:)M

You should see the racing mororcycle I made starting from a blank piece of paper.
The dry sump oil tank is under the engine, the petrol tank over the gearbox and where the latter usually is I have put a huge resonance air chamber for the intake.
Boy was that bike handling well.

I have given my enduro bike an automatic clutch so I have two brake levers on the handle bars which eliminates me having to compromise balance with a foot on a brake pedal.

I will leave the watch be. No sense in modding a vintage and less so when that is perfectly ok as it is. I have a pile of Casio F-91Ws for that

Mainly I was thinking there are lots of NS modules out there, since so many were put into those ugly, round-faced cases few of us want. It appears you can afford to play around and lose one occasionally - the NS module is basic but easy enough to work on. Simple contacts, quartz oscillator in a great position to replace(first thing to check if watch fails to run).

Making the small metal parts for a watch(any technology) can be quite difficult, even for those with fairly advanced skills and tools. I was a precision toolmaker for 12 years, doing some of the closest tolerance work at one point. But that was easy comparatively, because you could generally figure out a way to hold the work tightly and consistently. That is the #1 challenge, #2 is finding tools that are the right size for the job at hand. #3 is being able to take small enough cuts at the workpiece, that you will end up with a precision part that the watch is due. It's not something that can be done by hand, generally. Unless you can accommodate all three of those criteria, you will probably be very disappointed with the results - I understand the journey may be fun regardless.

Right, it does display seconds.
Press for time and hold for 3 seconds. It will then display seconds for as long as I hold the button.

So it is time, date and seconds.

Setting is as per ´early´.

Ok, the photo.
A good clean and wipe with a polishing cloth tidied the apprearance up enough to respect the sabi and leave it be.

Is was raining, winday, grey today. Ideal for wearing a cheerfull bright red display:

Oh, I see Huertecilla. I thought you sprinkled some water on the watch for effect - to make an interesting picture. I had guessed this was an 'artistic picture' but instead it could be better described as an 'action picture'.
