Most of the "crab" style with the wheel in the middle will have prongs/ears too big. The really nice ones with three point contact are even clumsier, especially if you don't unpin the band. My suggestion - buy one of these really cheap "sliding slot" openers, grind the prongs to fit, and you will love it. Lots of leverage, and you can see what you are doing, even if you are using the thumb from one hand to hold the wrench down against the case back.

* Note, grind the prongs a little at a time, you don't want to make them turn blue, definitely not red. You will have ruined the temper of the steel and they won't last long before bending. Odds are the tips are water-hardening steel, so if it does seem like their hardness is gone, heat up red hot and throw in some water. Hardness returned(it is possible to over-harden steel, making it brittle....that's probably not a big worry in this case).
