Setting the time with the magnet set modules can be tricky, there is often a 'sweet spot' that you need to find to get it right. The original magnets are often too weak to effect the display, try a new magnet, something small works best as if it is too large/powerful it activates unwanted functions if one end of the magnet doesn't work try turning it over as the polarity makes a difference.
Basically I just got back my repaired modules from Mr. Hanno.
As I was a virgin in the world of holding a working pulsar and had a good idea of what to do , even found a set of instructions online, just couldn't get the p4 to work
I managed to get my p2 up and running which is sweet, and a quick chat with Hanno requires the watch to be sent back to him for setting up as I only sent him the modules!
So I thought I was doing something wrong or as per usual I had a watch that came from the weird factory
I have a P3 with the SASM25 module and setting time is tricky.
seems like if you try to set minutes first and then the hour the module won't respond unless I push the time command to reset seconds.
try setting HR first then MIN. I don't know if there is flaw on the program or
this is the way is set to work.
The battery drain in setting mode is comparable high. This is just a verification, that everybody pushes the time button after the setting procedure is done. The watch goes in normal time counting procedure which reduces the current flow. I recommend to RTFM
Hope that you both are satisfied with the modules, please always report ideas for improvement! Hanno
