pulsar replica

Post03 Jun 2012, 03:37

I was looking on ebay and found this item that the seller describes as a pulsar replica.
Item: 320918189439

You can find replicas of rolex, omega ect out there, did pulsar have this problem?
Have you ever seen a pulsar look a like sold during the 70s?

I've never seen a "vintage" Pulsar replica, but IMHO it's unlikely that there were clones of that watch during the '70s (obviously IMHO). We need to ask the experts about that!

Hello Kasper,

Sorry, my question isn't clear.

Is there "fake" relicas of pulsar watches out there claiming to be genuine Pulsars?

Considering a P1 is a real treasure now a days or a solid gold model with box and papers can be a real collectors item... I guess a magnet switch or a led module isn't that hard to replicate now a days but in the 70s?...

Here is a link talking about Rolex fake replicas: http://qualitytyme.net/pages/rolex_or_replica.html

Happy to see that no crook was able to replicate a pulsar watch! ;-)
