Yes, I saw this monstrosity, too. Why anybody would use 14K solid gold for a goldfilled watch is beyond my understanding. How this might have been considered superior to the original brace is a mystery of equal magnitude...

Yup, this extends the 'ugly" spectrum a bit (and not in the good direction, either!). Still, I'm not as worked up about this as I ordinarily would be, since it's only a Seiko Pulsar, not a Time Computer.
