Teletime Mystery

Post21 Feb 2014, 04:03

Hi.

Any theories to explain this?

$1375? It was my understanding that vintage LCD watches tend to not go for much. This one's not even in mint condition. Any thoughts? It's not even a full moon.

I was checking this Teletime yesterday and was surprised with 500$...but now that it ended the final price is simply impossible to understand.
Perhaps I should sell my unworn NOS boxed Teletime and get 3000$ for it :)

Someone must have wanted it really bad.
He who asks is a fool for five minutes, but he who does not ask remains a fool forever.
The reason i collect watches is because it feels like i'm buying time.

Something dodgy about that, the auction must have been rigged. I would have been surprised if such a watch caught 100 bucks, it is not even rare...
