Sicura led?

Post18 May 2014, 13:43

Never seen it before but already alot of money bid on it while it is probably not even working.
Seems like a bit of a gamble to me.
Little mote then one hour to go....

The modules are easy enough to replace, nice price though! I have seen 3 - 4 go through eBay over the last five years, I picked one up myself although I didn't pay nearly as much. ;-)

Here's mine, same model but with the black dial.. ... ..

I think this one is the nicer and rarer Sicura LED watch, it is certainly one of the more unusual models in my collection.. .. .. ..

It would be nice to have a matching pair though. ;-)

Breitling 9106. (Note to Kasper the number 10 on the dial was replaced during refurbishment.)

Hi Bucko170, just curious - is the Mercury gold tone shown above the version with the Frontier2006 chrono functions? I have a gold tone which looks like your silver model but without the Mercury written on the crystal (doesnt look like it has worn off, rather it was never there)

I am not sure on the exact variety of the module but all are interchangeable with each other and all have the chronograph feature - I can check if it would help any?

No need to lookup the exact module. Thanks for offering. Dont want to trouble you. I just wanted to check that the gold tone Mercury did have the same pusher config for the chrono functions. The Mercury watches tend to be less documented so I was just curious. My one looks like your silver one. So it seems that Mercury had different chrono models, probably with different chrono module flavours

I am not sure what I did with this watch case, it might have ended up in the 'bits & bobs' tin.

MI see now. Mine is the Leisuretime like Benrus, which I had always assumed was the same as Mercury. It never crossed my mind they might be different companies. I guess it's a bit like the most standard Optel model which had different branding like Segtronic, Fortis, Avia, Zodiac, Jules Jurgenson etc
