Omega TC1 Prototype

Post06 Oct 2025, 16:53

watch out talking to Omega in Bienne, they will take your watch away withtout any compensation if you ask they to check or note a version. too bad I was looking to get this module, (the one on the left with the first version of the TC1 to be repaired. This is new and will be applied when Omega heritage service reopens (it's currently closed as they are reviewing their process due to the increase number of fakes)

I dont understand ? What are they claining is fake? The watch or the module. I've seen that TC1 stainless (not white gold plated) with the TC2 type raised bezel a few times. I assumed this was a halfway house model for want of a better description, where they were moving onto the TC2 production. They may have had a shit load of TC1 modules to use up? Maybe a prototype before the final TC2 design was decided on. I'll guarantee they dont know. The Omega Museum doesnt even have a curator anymore.Recently I had two differing answers to the same question from two different people at the musuem on the same day !! Omega arent and never have been interested in their digital history. It isnt really theirs. They stole a module from Hamilton and put it in a case- end of. I'm pretty sure they dont even have a digital section since they revamped the Museum in 2019
