With the Hughes modules could the customer specify what message got burnt in or where they just factory set?

That is interesting about the coal mine...but a band is very electrically charged - painfull static from microphones, quitars and amps all crackling away

That clear module is probably a Nortec - looks identical to the one I have here. Hard to say if Hughes took special orders....maybe we should see what messages our members have or have seen in them.
