We aren't at the point where the P1 was- 18K Gold sold in Tiffany's of NY, but the trend is positive. In other words, digital watches aren't
just for kids anymore.
(They never were IMO.)
There are very few higher end digital watches so they are not realy found anywhere but at ´specialist places
Over here you will find the Hamilton with Omega and the like. Either in ADs or higher end store. Ditto the TAGs.
The Pulsomatic has not reached these yet and the digital TAGs need be ordered.
Ventura is a specialist AD watch and the Seiko EPD is Brightz line which is véry limited in Europe.
High end means near the top, which is only a pointy bit = no volume of sales = limited # of outlets.
See the P1 too
In the modern world we have no limitation to physical shops anymore and this makes the limited distribution of high(er) end watches more limited.
Take a look at Ventura;
1.There will not be more than a handfull sold in the whole of Spain.
2.Those five buyers in a bíg country will likely not be near where the five watches are.
3. AD´s cannot stock for that.
4. They have an internet store, which makes it less attractive still to stock one.
This will not change unless it gets to mass production volume sales and huge margins, with models that do not change much like Rolex.
I prefer the exclusivity of the well made digital
